Norbit is nominated for an Oscar. Albeit for Best Makeup, but still. Norbit. Oscar. In the same sentence.
"It looked funny." -my mom on why she put Norbit on her Netflix and watched it. Which is surprising considering the horror stories we have of watching Big Momma's House 2 on the plane to Japan.

Norbit is stupid and I wouldn't give it an Oscar if it were the last movie on Earth, unless it was an Oscar for last movie on Earth.

I actually knew that, and it made me emotionally vomit.
I took it off my Netflix list. But only because it came on cable. It was kind of funny. A little. And you have to admit the makeup was amazing. Eddie Murphy played EVERY character in that movie. Plus I seem to remember a certain Comediva recently blogging about the revival of his career. No?
